    ST. LOUIS – Saturday afternoon around 3:45 pm two gunmen attempted to enter the Robinson Jewelry store on Chippewa Street in south St. Louis.   • Woman struck and killed in University City

    UNIVERSITY CITY, Mo. – The University City Police Department and St. Louis County Police Accident Reconstruction are investigating a fatal accident that occurred Monday afternoon around 2:50 p.m. in the 8300 block of Delmar Boulevard. Police say an elderly female was struck while attempting to crossing the road. The victim died at the scene. The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and is cooperating with authorities. Identification of the victim is pending notification of the family.

  • Missing 11-year-old boy in Macoupin County found safe

    MACOUPIN COUNTY, IL – The search for a missing 11-year-old autistic boy is over.  He has been found safe in a wooded area just south of Wilsonville, IL.  First responders in Macoupin County IL had been searching for the 11-year-old boy since 7:15 pm Monday night.  The boy, Isaiah Young had been spotted heading north from Rice Street in Wilsonville wearing a black jacket with green stripes, blue jeans, and tennis shoes.

  • Hospital: Suspect makes fake active shooter to avoid arrest in pursuit

    JEFFERSON COUNTY, MO – Mercy hospital in Festus was briefly put on lockdown Wednesday night, after a report of a suspicious person on the campus. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says there was a suspicious man on the campus who was threatening to fire shots, but no shots were fired.     ST. LOUIS-  Cardinal great Red Schoendienst passed away Wednesday at the age of 95. The news was broken to Cardinal Nation by former Cardinals and KMOX Cardinals announcer Mike Shannon.
