  • Man killed outside gas station on north Kingshighway

    ST. LOUIS – One man is dead after an overnight shooting in north St. Louis. The shooting happened just after 12:30 a.m. at a gas station on North Kingshighway at Cates Avenue. Police say the victim ran across the street, where he collapsed and died in the parking lot of a liquor store.   • Ramp from EB I-64 to Kingshighway closed due to police activity

    CENTRAL WEST END, Mo – Drivers driving eastbound Interstate 64 may need to find an alternate route. Police activity has closed the ramp from eastbound I-64 to Kingshighway since 5:55 a.m. Tuesday morning. The ramp remains blocked by first responders as of 6:25 a.m. No other information has been released. FOX2 will update this story as new information becomes available.

    ST. LOUIS – A police chase and crash in north St. Louis overnight left two people injured. According to police, officers spotted a vehicle taken in a carjacking and began chasing the driver, just before midnight. The chase ended in a crash on North Grand at University Street.   • Early morning fire damages vacant house in East St. Louis

    EAST ST. LOUIS – Firefighters were busy Monday morning battling a vacant house fire in East St. Lous. The fire started in the 2000 block of Illinois Avenue just before 6:00 a.m. Ameren IL is was on the scene to turn off gas to prevent the fire from spreading to a neighboring occupied houses. No injuries have been reported in this incident. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

    GRANITE CITY, Ill. – Police were called to a  mobile home in Granite City early Wednesday after a pickup truck plowed into the front of the structure. According to police, the truck driver crashed into the mobile home located in the Edwards Mobile Home Park after a car repeatedly rammed into the back of the truck causing the driver to lose control of the wheel.     MADISON, Ill. – The Major Case Squad was activated after a deadly shooting in Madison, Illinois Monday night. Around 7:40 p.m., police in Madison were called to the 1500 block of 4th street for reports of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found 15-year-old and16-year-old boys and a 21-year-old man shot. All three victims were taken to an area hospital where the 15-year-old died from his injuries.     CASEYVILLE, Ill. Police are searching for a group of accused car thieves after they struck a Caseyville Police Patrol Monday morning.
