  • Man injured after being hit by truck on north Grand

    ST. LOUIS –  A man is in the hospital after being hit by a pickup truck overnight in north St. Louis. Investigators say it appears the man walked into the path of the truck when he was hit just after 2:00 a.m. Emergency crews responded to the scene on North Grand at Montgomery Street.  He was quickly taken to an area hospital where his injuries are not life-threatening. The driver of the pickup truck is cooperating with law enforcement.

  • Vacant house goes up in flames overnight in north St. Louis

    ST. LOUIS –  A  three-story vacant house is destroyed after an early morning fire in the 5300 block of Cabanne Thursday morning. St. Louis Fire Department responded just after 3:00 a.m. and had the fire under control just after 4:35 a.m. Authorities say two occupants were treated and taken to the hospital for nonlife-threatening burn injuries but didn’t say why they were inside the vacant home at the time of the fire.   • Thieves break into Stonegate Auto Parts overnight

    VALLEY PARK Mo. – Police are investigating after an auto parts store was burglarized overnight. According to authorities, someone broke into Stonegate Auto Parts in Valley Park around 11:30 p.m. Police are reviewing surveillance to determine if the burglar somehow entered the building through the roof. There is no word on if anything was taken.

  • East St. Louis police investigate after person found shot in stomach

    EAST ST. LOUIS – Police are investigating after one person was shot overnight in East St. Louis. The shooting happened around 1:00 a.m. on North 25th Street near Louisiana Boulevard. Police on the scene found four shell casings at that location. According to reports, the victim was shot in the stomach. There is no word yet on a condition.

  • Firefighters suffer minor injuries in St. Peters maintenance shed fire

    ST. PETERS, Mo. – Two firefighters suffered minor injuries Thursday morning while responding to a structure fire in St. Peters. The fire broke out just before 4:00 a.m. at a  maintenance shed in the 2900 block of North St. Peters Parkway near Woodbridge.   • Man robbed at gunpoint outside North County gas station

    ST. LOUIS –  A customer was robbed at gunpoint outside a gas station around 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Police say the incident happened on Chambers Road near Halls Ferry Road in north St. Louis County. The victim told police he was walking to his car when a suspect came up to him, pointed a handgun and demanded cash. The gunman got away.

    ST. LOUIS – A man is hospitalized after getting shot in the back early Wednesday morning.     EAST ST. LOUIS – An early morning house fire in East St. Louis had firefighters busy before the sun came up Tuesday.   • Man dies after fatal hit-and-run accident near Bellefontaine Cemetery

    ST. LOUIS –  St. Louis City police investigating a fatal hit and run in north St. Louis Monday morning According to police, a man was struck by a vehicle around 12:30 a.m. on North Broadway and Calvary near Bellefontaine Cemetery. He later died at a nearby hospital from his injuries. Police have not released the name of the victim, pending notification of family members. The investigation is ongoing.

    ST. LOUIS –  Police are investigating a shooting in the Old North St. Louis neighborhood Monday morning. Officers were called to the 1900 block of N. 14th Street just after 6:00 a.m. Upon arrival, a male victim was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the stomach.   • Authorities: Thief on the loose after business van stolen

    ST. LOUIS – Police are investigating after a delivery van was stolen from a business overnight. According to police, the thief stole the van from a flooring company on Delor Street just after 1:30 a.m. Friday morning. The driver traveled a block and a half before crashing into a parked car, the thief ran away. The investigation is ongoing.
