  • Firefighters respond to fire at TGI Fridays in Fairview Heights

    FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Ill. – Flames at TGI Fridays damages the restaurant Wednesday night in Fairview Heights. That fire started around 11:45p.m. Friday’s location on North Illinois Street near intersection  I64 and route 159. Restaurant workers evacuated all the customers from the building, with no word on injuries. Firefighters used axes to chop into the walls, to get to the fire. Fire officials said they believe the fire started from a cigarette that was tossed into mulch near the entrance.

  • Man injured in East St. Louis drive-by shooting

    EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. – A man was shot in the arm and leg during a drive-by shooting in East St. Louis. The shooting occurred around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday at North 42nd Street at Van Buren Avenue. Police have not identified a motive. There’s been no word on the victim’s condition.

    SHILOH, Ill. – Police are investigating a home invasion in Shiloh Illinois that happened on Monday, June 2. The incident happened around 1:29a.m. in the 2000 block of Blue Springs Court.   • Man found shot to death in the Soulard neighborhood

    ST. LOUIS – St. Louis police are searching for the gunman who shot and killed a man outside a Soulard bar early Tuesday morning. According to a spokesperson for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting occurred just after 12:15 a.m. on Russell Boulevard and Menard Street, just outside of Bastille Bar and Grill.     ST. LOUIS – A police SUV was involved in an accident on North Fourth Street at Washington Avenue The officer’s vehicle had its emergency lights and sirens on as it headed north when it hit with another vehicle. No word of any injuries at this time.
