South St. Louis home heavily damaged after fire

SOUTH ST. LOUIS -  An overnight fire damaged a home in south St. Louis Sunday night.

The fire broke out around 11:30 p.m. on Minnesota Avenue at Schirmer Street.

Fire crews were able to extinguish the blaze in the two-story building.

Everyone got out safely. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
