ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO – Tuesday night shortly before 7 pm on Highway 367 near the Jamestown Road exit in North County, a fatal accident occurred. The Missouri State Highway Patrol tells Fox 2 that the accident involved two vehicles in a head-on collision that killed one person.
The highway patrol says the accident was caused by a wrong-way driver going northbound in the southbound lanes of Highway 367. The wrong-way driver died in the accident. The other driver was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The scene has been shut down for an accident reconstruction investigation unit.
Motorists are urged to take an alternate route around the area.
