CHESTERFIELD, Mo. -  Rain and below freezing temperatures made driving on Sunday morning a nightmare, but temperatures are above freezing and there will be no ice-related issues for Monday morning's commute.

The Missouri Department of Transportation held a press conference Monday morning, where they said they were tracking road conditions and everything is good, however, drivers should still take it easy as roads are slick from the rain.

Missouri Highway Patrol says they received 286 calls for help and more than 80 drivers were stranded Sunday afternoon.  Additionally, there were 111 crashes and 12 injuries, but the good news is that none of them were fatal.

Again, drivers take it slow – no reason to rush as there are some slick spots on the road.
