Abandoned north St. Louis school building catches fire

ST. LOUIS -  Fire officials are investigating an overnight fire that left damages to an abandoned old school building in North St. Louis.

The fire started just after 12:30 Tuesday at the vacant Carr School building on North 15th Street and Carr Street.

Firefighters battled flames on the second and third floors of the building, which was built in 1908 and closed in 1983.
