ST. LOUIS - St. Louis is still on track to see a mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain Sunday. A Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect from 12PM Sunday until 3AM Monday.

We wake up dry, but a mix of snow and sleet develops west of St. Louis during the morning and begins to build east. That will change to freezing rain as temperatures warm above freezing into the afternoon. A cold rain will be around through the evening before the precipitation ends late Sunday night/early Monday.

The ground is frozen. Ice will accumulate on untreated roads, sidewalks, and other surfaces even as temperatures warm.  Accumulations to around one tenth of an inch are expected, though some spots could see more than that. Remember, travel can be extremely dangerous even with a light glazing. If you can stay home, you are advised to do so Sunday afternoon and night.
