ST. LOUIS, MO — Head outside and enjoy the fall colors. The Missouri Department of Conservation says trees and shrubs in the St. Louis metro are at their peak colors right now.

Oaks are starting to turn reddish brown while hickories and sugar maples are showing a decent display of yellow. Dogwoods or sassafras are also changing into red and purple hues.
