ST. LOUIS – Just after 8:45 pm Wednesday night St. Louis police were summoned to south St. Louis at Minnesota and Winnebago.

Since that call a heavy police presence has built up in the area around Nebraska and Winnebago.

A separate call went out around 10:10 pm for shots fired by a subject from a porch.

It’s not known if the two events are related, as police have cordoned off the area.
