SUNSET HILLS, MO (KPLR) - Sunset Hills police are investigating after a gun went off inside of a bathroom at the Home Deport on Lindbergh Sunday afternoon.

"Around 11:50 this morning we responded to a report of a shooting at the Home Depot" said Sgt. Robbie Hagen.  "It appears a gun must have fallen and accidentally went off.  One employee was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries" Hagen said.

According to police, three people, including one employee were in the bathroom when the gun went off.  It is unclear who the gun belonged to.  The employee who was shot is expected to make a full recovery.  No charges are expected.

"Whether at home or in a public place, it's important to handle weapons with the utmost care" said Hagen.
