WELLSTON, MO (KPLR) - Multiple North St. Louis County police departments responded to Normandy High School, Saturday night, after multiple fights broke out during an event happening on campus.

"Actually the kids were great once we started clearing them out" said North County Cooperative Police Chief Tim Swopes.  "A couple of bad apples, like it always is, but once we got them out..."

A 314 All-Star Basketball Game was scheduled for Saturday night at the school.  Organized by an outside promoter, the event was said to feature a number of St. Louis music artists in a basketball game.

Sources tell Fox2 there were also shots fired in the parking lot of the school just an hour before the fights broke out.

No one was injured.  There were no arrests or detainees.
