Missing elderly couple from Oklahoma might be in St. Louis area

ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) – Police from McAlester, Oklahoma, have issued an Endangered SILVER Advisory for a missing elderly couple. Gerald L. Heggie, 78, and Nita D. Heggie, 75, left McAlester on Tuesday, November 22, 2016, around noon headed for Toledo, OH, but never arrived.

The two contacted their son on Thanksgiving Day around 11:00am and told him they thought they were somewhere west of St. Louis, MO.  A cell phone ping placed the pair in the St. Louis area.

Gerald Heggie is a white man,5 feet 10 inches tall, 170 lbs, with white hair and blue eyes. Nita Heggie is a white woman, 5 feet 3 inches tall, 140 pounds, with  strawberry blonde hair and brown eyes. She uses a wheelchair. Both are known to have dementia.

There were driving a  silver 2010 Hummer H2 bearing Oklahoma plates, 375-HTJ. They may have been pulling a small boat.

Anyone seeing the couple or their vehicle should immediately dial 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency.
