Central Missouri Amber Alert cancelled; two children found safe

WARSAW, MO (KPLR)- An Amber Alert for two children who were abducted in Warsaw, Missouri has been cancelled. The Missouri Highway Patrol says their mother, 39-year-old Carmelita Wilson, is in custody.

She is accused of taking them from their home in the 26200 block of Highway 00 late Monday afternoon.

Officers say the children, 9-year-old Gabriel Longleywilson and 7-year-old Serenity Longleywilson, are safe. Their descriptions were not available when the alert was issued.

Wilson is a white female, 39 years of age, standing 5’6″ tall, with blonde hair and blue eyes. She weighs approximately 135 pounds. She was last seen driving a 1998 GMC Jimmy SUV, red in color, with Missouri license plate CL6X4F.
