ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR)-A St. Louis man pleaded guilty to robbing three banks in the bi-state area to buy heroin, hotel rooms and food.

In 2015, 39-year-old Brendon Marshall Collier allegedly robbed two U.S. Bank locations inside of Schuncks grocery stores in Edwardsville and Fairview Heights. The Edwardsville robbery took place in January 28, 2015 and the Fairview Heights robbery happened on February 10, 2015.

According to our partners at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Collier and his neighbor Marc Gordon Miller were arrested after they robbed a third U.S. Bank branch inside of a Schnucks store in St. Peters. Both men confessed to all three robberies.

Court documents show Miller let Collier use his vehicle and rode along to the banks. He pleaded guilty in November 2015.

Collier could face up to 20 years in jail along with a fine of up to $250,000 on each charge.
