CHICAGO, IL (KTVI) - Chicago Cubs fans in the Windy City are basking in a Game 6 win, moving their World Series Championship dreams to Game 7.
"I came all the way from Albuquerque to be in this atmosphere and the Cubs definitely made it worth it" said Angel Ramirez.
"The crowd here has been awesome. It's history" said Bianca Hurtado who watched the game from Sluggers Bar and Grill next to Wrigley Field.
Jordan Legendre came from Nashville. He was in New Orleans when the Saints won a Super Bowl and says it's all about being where the action is.
"You want to go where the heart is" he said. "The heart is here in Chicago" Legendre said
The series now moves to Game 7 Wednesday night in Cleveland. Cubs fans like Justin Dalipi from Toronto are ready.
"I don't know if you know this but the last time the Cubs won a World Series in 1908 there was no sliced bread" he said. "So essentially, if the Cubs win, it will be the greatest thing since sliced bread” he said.
