COLLINSVILLE, IL (KPLR) – A Collinsville boy is spending his free time to raise money so he can fund the construction of a home for a family in Haiti.  Miguel Billings start his fundraiser Saturday, with the help of his family and band teacher Zack Stegman.

Using cookies his sister baked and his parents helping him set-up a stand, he raised over $700 on his first day.

Sunday he was at it again from 2 pm to 6pm.

The goal is to raise $4,774 that will be donated to Lifeline Ministries.

If you want to help Miguel reach his goal, a gofundme account has been set-up.
