13-year-old girl safe after being abducted from Liberty, Missouri

LIBERTY, MO (KPLR) – Police have cancelled an Amber Alert that was issued for a 13-year-old girl who was abducted Monday morning from Liberty, Missouri. Officials say Amiya Morris has been located safe and the suspect is in custody.

The alert went out state-wide around 11:50 a.m.

Police say the victim was with Nicholas Bejarano, a 38 year old Hispanic male. He is 6′ 0″, weighs 160 lbs, with black hair, brown eyes, and brown complexion. Bejarano has tattoos on his neck and N A B on his fingers. He was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt, red shorts, and multi-colored women’s slippers.

The suspect’s vehicle is a blue 2012 Toyota Camry bearing Missouri DS17X.

Amiya Morris is a black female, 5′ 3″, 105 lbs, black hair, brown eyes, light complexion, last seen wearing a tan tank top, dark blue leggings, and black and pink Nike flip-flops.
