Elderly woman robbed on Walgreen’s parking lot

ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) - Wednesday the St. Louis city police released surveillance video of a robbery on the Walgreen’s parking lot located in the 3700 block of north Kingshighway. It all happened just after 1 pm on September 22nd. The two suspects pulled up in a white minivan with damage on the driver’s side.

Both men then enter the store one had on a blue t-shirt and black baseball cap.

The second man followed with a red Cardinals shirt and black hat.

They exit the store and the man in red approached a 83-year-old female victim while she was loading groceries into her car.

The victim says he asked if she needed help then snatches her purse from the car. Meanwhile the other man drives through in the get a way van and takes off eastbound to Natural Bridge.

Police say the suspects could face 2nd degree robbery charges in the case. Both men are in their mid 20`s to early 30`s.
