Trio arrested in connection with Jefferson County thefts

HILLSBORO, MO (KPLR) - The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office arrested three bold thieves for more than two dozen thefts and car clouting.

More than 100 pieces of stolen property has been recovered, including: cellphones, handguns, a bow, credit cards, a backpack, bowling balls, clothes, and so on.

Investigators said the incidents appeared to be confined to two areas. The majority of the victims’ vehicles were located throughout subdivisions near the intersection with Seckman Road in Imperial and the second area within Marisol Manor in Eureka.

The suspects have been identified as a 35-year-old man from House Springs and two men from the St. Louis area, ages 25 and 26. Their names have not been released, pending formal charges.
