ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR)- Schlafly beer`s ambassador brewer Stephen Hale stopped in the studio to showcase some of the different beers that will be at Schlafly`s Hop in the City festival!

Hop in the City is Schlafly’s biggest one-day festival of the year. This is the 18th anniversary of the festival and this year is bigger and better than ever before!

They will have 40+ schlafly beers for guests to try as well as six bands – five of them nationally known -on their stage.

The festival is split into different areas so you can choose your own adventure based off the types of beer you like. The categories include: hops, fruit, full-bodied, traditional, hop trial and lager.

There will be food available for purchase as well as beers by the pint and the tap room dining room will be open.  Some of the food items will include: hot chicken on a stick, parmesan fries, pretzels and cheese, brisket nachos, chilled shrimp, carnitas tacos, and grilled brat.

Guests can purchase tickets at Doors open at noon and the grand tasting will take place from 1-5 p.m. The tasting tickets are $30, but guests can also buy lot tickets for $15.
