Former St. Louis principal charged with stealing field trip money

ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR)-Charges are filed against a former St. Louis middle school principal accused of theft.

Cornelius Green is a former principal at Carr Lane Visual Performing Arts School. He's charged with two counts of theft.

Green was arrested at the district's Central Office where he was reassigned over the summer. Police say he took the money after it had been raised for a spring break field trip.
