Michael Brown Sr. talks A Father’s Perspective Retreat, memorial events

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- August 9th marks the second anniversary of the shooting death of Michael Brown Jr. in Ferguson. There will be a memorial vigil Tuesday morning on Canfield Drive.

Michael Brown Sr., his father and co-founder of the Michael Brown Foundation along with Jana M. Gamble joined us on FOX 2 News in the Morning to discuss the activities.

Brown and Chosen Fathers, a national group for grieving fathers who've lost their children, are asking the public to join them as they work to heal grieving fathers, children, youth and families of those who have lost loved ones due to police brutality.

The Michael Brown Foundation d/b/a Chosen For Change is focused on strengthening and changing the destiny of impoverished communities. CFC aims to empower, engage, and build leadership and self-determination in grieving fathers, children and youth and families regardless of religious preferences, ethnic background, gender or race.
