C3 Fitness – The Tabata Workout

ST. LOUIS (KPLR) – Cason from C3 Fitness returns to KPLR 11 News at Noon to teach John Fuller and our viewers about the Tabata Workout.

At its core, Tabata is a specialized version of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), in which the participant works heavily for a short time (20 or 30 seconds, for example) followed by a brief rest period (10 to 15 seconds, using the prior example) before repeating the exercise several more times.
