ELLISVILLE, MO (KPLR) - Supporters of a wounded Ballwin police officer organized a fund-raiser for him Saturday.  Officer Mike Flamion was wounded during a traffic stop the day after five officers were shot and killed in Dallas.

Organizers say proceeds from the car wash are going to Officer Flamion's family.

Ballwin Police Chief Kevin Scott has stated that Officer Flamion will need long-term medical care due to his injuries.
