GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas — Candace Payne, Chewbacca Mom, is back — but this time she’s not laughing.

Payne, whose video of her laughing over a Chewbacca mask went viral back in May, was reacting to the recent police-involved shootings and the attack on officers in Dallas that left five dead.

Payne was in Grand Prairie, Texas, which is about 30 minutes from Dallas.

“I really don’t know what else to say other than I’ve been spreading joy…but I’ve found myself the last couple of days being silent because I’ve been so sad and so hurt by what’s going on,” she said.

Payne said she felt one way to lift people up was through Michael Jackson’s song, “Heal the World.”

“I felt like someone needs to sing these lyrics again,” she said.

So she takes to the piano and sings. And Payne has gone viral — yet again — with over 3 million views of her beautiful song on Facebook.
