CLARKSON VALLEY, MO (KPLR)-A group of young people spent the weekend doing their part to help Ballwin Police Officer Mike Flamion who was seriously wounded in the line of duty Friday.  Tori, CJ, and Mckenzie Moore and their friends put on a lemonade stand to help refresh first responders.   It was held at the Dierbergs at Clarkson and Clayton. The store donated the supplies.

The kids managed to raise $4,000 before running out of lemonade. People continued to donate, even without refreshments.

Proceeds will go to Responder Rescue, which provides assistance to area first responders, who have been injured, become ill, or suffered a traumatic situation.  Responder Rescue is working with Officer Flamion’s family.
