Former Sam’s Club cashier charged with credit card theft and fraud

MAPLEWOOD, MO (KPLR) – A St. Louis area Sam's Club cashier stole hundreds of dollars using individuals Sam's Club cards, which are also MasterCards.

Jalissa Brandon, 24, is facing multiple counts of stealing a credit card and fraud.

Brandon worked at the Sam's Club in Maplewood as a cashier.

Police say on at least three different occasions she stole customer’s credit cards.

In some cases the customers handed Brandon their Sam’s card and she simply never gave them back and customers left the store forgetting their card.

On surveillance video police say you can see Brandon sliding the card under the cash register and then into her shoe.

Brandon would then go next door to the Walmart and use the stolen credit card.

Officers said another time Brandon handed a customer back a fraudulent card.

Brandon worked at the store from September of 2015 to November of 2015.

Police said if you shopped at the Maplewood Sam's Club during that time you should check your bank statement.
