OVERLAND, MO (KPLR) – Saturday afternoon around 3 pm, an Overland police officer pulled over a speeding driver in the 1800 block of Spencer.  But instead of writing a ticket for speeding the man was arrested and now faces charges on meth amphetamines.

Police say the driver had drug paraphernalia and 3 two liter soda bottles with meth product in them when the officer noticed them in the SUV.

The drug paraphernalia and meth product was seized by the St. Louis County Drug Unit for lab testing.

The driver is now facing felony charges.
