FLORISSANT, MO (KPLR) - Just before midnight Friday night, St. Louis County Police Department’s North County Precinct responded to an accident involving three fatalities near the intersection of Shackelford Road and Kingsford Drive. The striking vehicle, a pickup truck, was attempting to make a left turn onto Kingsford Drive from northbound Shackelford Road when it struck a passenger vehicle traveling south on Shackelford Road. The driver of the passenger vehicle was pronounced dead on the scene. The remaining two occupants of the passenger vehicle were transported to a local hospital where they later died of their injuries.

The three male victims, all 20 years old, have been identified as:

  • Cameron Brown
  • Braxton Johnson-Price
  • William Nicks

The driver of the pickup truck remained on scene and cooperated with investigators.  The accident is under investigation by the St. Louis County Police Department’s Bureau of Crimes Against Persons, Crime Scene Unit, and Accident Reconstruction Team.

The impact of the crash took down a power pole, leaving roughly one thousand people in the Florissant area without power overnight.  Power was restored to those homes around 8:30 A.M. Saturday morning.
