Jefferson County man arrested for fatal hit and run

william bentley(KPLR) – A 25-year-old man has been arrested for a deadly hit and run in Jefferson County.  The suspect faces possible charges of felony leaving the scene and tampering with evidence.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says back on April 24th, the suspect struck and killed 44-year-old William Bentley who was riding a scooter along Highway 30.

Investigators have also recovered the white Chevrolet Trail Blazer involved in the crash.
