KIRKWOOD, MO (KPLR) – The wet weather has been washing out many youth baseball and softball games.

Since the season started in March the Kirkwood Athletic Association has already had to cancel 300-400 games.

They originally scheduled to end the season in June but right now they are scheduling games into mid July.

The only ones who really like this weather are the geese and indoor baseball facilities.

Matt Whiteside the owner of All Star Performance Baseball and Softball Training Center said during the summer months they are only about fifty percent full, but during these rainy days they are almost completely full all day long.
