Suspect surrenders to St. Louis officer after shots fired

ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) – A police officer fired at a suspect this afternoon, but no one was hit.

Police say it happened in the 5500 block of West Florissant late Tuesday afternoon. When the officer approached a 19-year-old man, the man took off, and turned and pointed a gun at the officer. The officer shot at the man, but missed.

The man the surrendered to the officer. No one was hurt.
