ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) - Artworks is a 20-year-old non-profit organization which offers paid arts apprenticeship opportunities to hundreds of St. Louis teens each year.

Artworks bridges economic, racial and social divisions by providing under-served youth with arts education, workforce development training, and 21st century life skills, including fiscal literacy and professional communication.

Two events:

The Art-B-Q is Friday, April 29 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at St. Louis Artworks, and will be raising funds toward our year-round paid apprenticeship programs.

Saturday, April 30, 51 apprentices will present their spring artwork at the annual spring art sale, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Louis Artworks.
