(KPLR) – The St. Louis police department’s force investigative unit has wrapped up its investigation into the officer involved shooting of Mansur Ball-Bey.

An officer shot and killed Ball-Bey while serving a search warrant for illegal drugs at a home on Walton back in August.

Police say Ball-Bey pulled a gun on police officers.

Ball-Bey’s family attorney says he was running from police when they shot him.

The report is being sent to the circuit attorney’s office for review.

The police department did not seek charges against the officers.

The office says it is wrapping up its own investigation into the shooting.
