BALLWIN, MO (KPLR) – A man and a woman from Ballwin are on the run after being charged with sexually assaulting a neighborhood girl.

It has taken a year to finally bring charges in this case. Now the question is where are the suspects?

The original arrest in this case was in March of 2015. The suspects are Brittany H. Golden and Terry A. Roderick. He is 42-years-old and from Arnold. She is 29 and has two addresses in Ballwin.

According to police the two had been staying at a condo owned by her mother in the 300 block of Quail Village Court in Ballwin. Police say both suspects lured a 10-year-old girl from that neighborhood into coming home with them.  They told her they had lost their puppy and promised her a bunny rabbit if she would come inside. When she did, that is when they allegedly when they both sodomized her.

Both Golden and Roderick are charged with four counts each of statutory sodomy and deviant sexual intercourse with a person less than 12-years-old. They were arrested at the time of the crime but released pending charges. Those charges just came this week after a year long investigation.

A spokesperson for the St. Louis County Prosecutor says that is not an unusual length of time in these kids of cases. They do not know if there are other victims.
