ST. LOUIS (KPLR) – Tuesday, the day started strong and with lots of optimism for Bernie Sanders supporters.  But by 8 pm the mood at the watch party for Sanders in St. Louis had changed.  A night of hope to pull off another upset over Hillary Clinton in Ohio was not to be.

But there was some good news as the primaries in Missouri and Illinois are locked in a near dead heat.

Staff members and volunteers remain hopeful as Sanders rallied his supports in a speech in Phoenix Arizona to fight on and to remain true to the mission of fighting for a better America.
