JENNINGS, MO (KPLR) - Two people left for dead, were brought back to life Monday because of the quick thinking of witnesses and first responders.

FOX 2’s Chris Hayes was in Jennings where witnesses swear they saw heroin addicts raised from the dead.

The man who called 911 will not talk on camera, because he fears he saw what was this close to murder.

A gold Nissan Altima pulled up behind this strip mall at 367 and Jennings Station Road. A man opened all 4 doors and pulled out two people, a 21-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man. The witness said he got within 10 feet and saw they were not breathing. He said they looked like mannequins. They had overdosing on heroin.  St. Louis County Police Sergeant Brian Schellman explained how they both woke up.
