ST. LOUIS (KPLR) – A South County man has admitted to police that he stole items from an unmarked police car to feed his heroin addiction. County police say Timothy Issa confessed to stealing body armor, ammunition and a flashlight from an unlocked St. Louis county police car.
Investigators found a name plate from the body armor in Issa’s backyard.
Police say he told them he traded the body armor for heroin, and threw the rest of the items away.
Issa is charged with stealing over five hundred dollars.
