Police looking for man after carjacking on SLU campus

ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) - Police are looking for a suspect after a carjacking on Saint Louis University Campus.

The graduate student was paying for parking near the intersection of Laclede and Spring Tuesday.  A young man grabbed her keys and tried to steal her car.  He drove up on a curb as the two struggled over the keys.

Police were looking for a black Ford Focus travelling after the suspect drove west on Laclede. The vehicle has been recovered in Pine Lawn.  It was abandoned.

St. Louis City are still looking for the suspect.  He is described as a white male, 6' tall, wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans.

The victim says she was not injured.
