Man calls police after shooting his wife

UNIVERSITY CITY, MO (KPLR) – University City police have a man in custody after he allegedly shot his wife to death.

Police say the suspect Cameron Raphael Harper called officers stating that he had shot his wife.

When they arrived, the man came out of the house followed by two small children.

The 31-year-old woman’s body was found in the bedroom with a single gun shot wound.

The two children are now in protective custody.

Warrants were issued against Harper for Murder in the second degree, and his bond was set at $500,000 cash only.
