“Afternoons on 11” sits down with real CIA team behind Benghazi movie

ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) - 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi hits theaters Friday, January 15.  The film is based on the real life story of a CIA Security Team that defended the American Diplomatic Compound in Benghazi, Libya after it was attacked by terrorists.

During the 13 hour battle, the U.S. Ambassador was killed along with another state department employee and two CIA contractors. John Tiegen and Mark Geist are two members of the real security team who fought to defend the American Diplomatic Compound in Benghazi after the attack on September 11, 2012.
