Both directions of I-70 open in St. Charles County after flooding

ST. CHARLES, COUNTY (KPLR) – Both directions of I-70 are now open in St. Charles County.

Flood waters from Dardenne Creek closed eastbound and westbound lanes of the highway Sunday afternoon between Mid-Rivers Mall Drive and T.R. Hughes Boulevard, near Route 79 and Bryan Road.  All lanes of the major road re-opened at around 2:30pm Monday.

There are still more than 285 roads still closed across the state due to flooding.
