Las Vegas Strip blocked off after accident; over 20 pedestrians run down

The Las Vegas Strip was blocked off after a car ran down as many as 20 pedestrians Sunday night, authorities said.

The Strip was shut down near the Paris Las Vegas hotel, said Loy Hixson , the Nevada Highway Patrol spokesman

“Road closure on S. Las Vegas Blvd between Harmon and Flamingo Rd. while we investigate an injury crash,” the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department tweeted.

No more information was immediately available.
