ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR)- Sonja Shin, Mental Health Advocate and Founder of MayYouShine.com joined us on KPLR 11 to discuss coping with depression.

Sonja Shin is an award-winning journalist who has produced medical news for 'NBC Nightly News' and 'The Today Show,' reported TV news in San Francisco and Seattle, and handled public affairs for NASA. After recovering from decades of severe, life-threatening depression, she founded the new website May You Shine to empower people through life`s challenges, promote good mental health and prevent suicide, which is now the number one killer of teen girls.
