ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - A strong storm system is pushing across the region.  There should not be a huge outbreak of severe thunderstorms.  However, because the storms are moving at 50-60mph, and there is some shear, a few locations may experience some wind damage and a lesser chance of a tornado.

Timing of the t-storms is 5-8pm for metro St. Louis, while the best chance to a tornado is north of Bowling Green, MO.  The threat of severe weather will diminish quickly about 8-9pm, but winds will still be strong (W 20-30, gusts to 50mph) well into the evening.
