100 restaurants take part in Scott Knopfel Memorial Dine Out

ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR)-It’s an effort to honor a hotel manager murdered on the job and all you have to do is eat out.  Scott Knopfel was killed during a robbery at the Drury Inn at Hampton and I- 44 in January.

Knopfel’s brother and sister have joined with 100 St. Louis area restaurants for the Scott Knopfel Memorial Dine Out on Tuesday. A portion of sales, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, at those restaurants Tuesday will go to a scholarship fund in the name of Scott Knopfel  to benefit workers in the hospitality industry. Participating restaurants stretch from St. Charles County to O’Fallon, Illinois.
