Volunteers are participating in a weekend long event designed to help more than 30 churches connect with their communities. This group was making blankets for kids at the Crisis Nursery of St. Louis.

Nearly 2,000 people of all ages took part in the Serve St. Louis annual weekend. Groups did everything from preparing meals, to helping the sick and improving their neighborhoods.

Over 200 community based projects from churches of all denominations kept parishioners busy.  This is the third year for the regional mission, a mission volunteers hope to grow for years to come.
