(KPLR)- School has been back in session for a little more than a month. But what about the education of children at an early age? That’s where Parents as Teachers wants to step in to help. They work to provide the information, support and encouragement parents need to help their children develop optimally during the crucial early years of life, before they reach kindergarten.

Founded in Missouri in 1984, Parents as Teachers serves more than 240,000 children in all 50 U.S. states.
