Blues and NHL implement new security measures at Scottrade Center

ST. LOUIS (KPLR) – The St. Louis Blues and Scottrade Center have implemented new  security measures required by the National Hockey League for all teams in 2015. Fans will have to walk through metal detectors at all public entrances to the Scottrade Center to enter the arena.

Guest will not be asked to remove shoes or belts, but will be asked to remove from their possession metallic items from their person, including mobile phones into bin before walking through metal detectors. For those uncomfortable with metals detectors or for other reasons, security personnel on site will be available for pat downs.

Bags larger than 14”x14” are prohibited, and all bags are subject inspection.
