(KPLR) - The race for the White House heated up some more Wednesday night during the CNN GOP candidate debate. The 11 republican candidates for president square off and it didn't take long for the republican front-runner to take off the gloves.

The candidates are at the Reagan Library in California and CNN is hosting the debate.

Quite a few people have wondered whether candidate Carly Fiorina would fire back against Donald Trump for comments related to her looks. When given the opportunity to answer whether she felt Trump was a candidate who could be taken seriously, she said that's up to the voters.

FOX 2’s Jeff Bernthal has been watching the debate with Parkway Central Debate Coach Rob Proffitt. We'll hear some of his analysis of debate.

The debate touched on the Iran Nuclear deal, Russia, defunding Planned Parenthood and the Kentucky clerk opposed to gay marriage.
